Hear what Chloe has to say about designing eBooks and infographics, as well as Glastonbury and taxidermy…

Briefly describe your role as Digital Design Executive…

As a digital designer my day to day work includes lots of eBook and infographic design for the social and campaigns teams, creating assets and imagery for our in-house marketing team and generally avoiding making the next brew round.

What do you enjoy most about working at Click?

I think the best thing about working at Click, other than all the awesome people I get to spend my day with, is the variety of work. I absolutely love doing illustration and the different projects I get to work on allow me to do a lot of what I love. I am able to try new styles and work in different programmes constantly, and I’ve even been able to learn a little video and animation!

What would you say is the most challenging aspect of your role?

Any creative will tell you, that when you’re having an off day and have creative block everything is ten times harder, especially when you have deadlines to meet. Sometimes it takes a little inspiration boost to get those creative juices flowing again.

You’ve just returned from your yearly trip to Glastonbury – what was the best bit?

Glastonbury is always full of amazing and memorable moments! As Biffy Clyro said, “it’s the most positive place in the world”. I think for me getting into the secret set for The Killers, standing in the sunshine with my boyfriend, drinking a beer and having a sing along, that moment was perfect.

What’s the most unusual gift you’ve ever received?

The first thing that springs to mind is a gift I received from my best friend for Christmas, who loves to buys lots of little random things off eBay. Opening it was like pass-the-parcel when I came to a layer of wrapping that had a ring inside and it had a massive, full-sized taxidermied bird attached to it.

Which famous person do you most admire and why?

I wouldn’t say there was a person that I admire the most as there are many different people who inspire me in different ways. I think the person who I admire most recently is Ariana Grande and everything that she has done following the Manchester bombings.
