Job Title: General Insurance Sales Team Leader
Location: Click Connect - Northwich, Cheshire (office based)
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
9:00am - 9:00pm
7.5 hours per day
WEEKDAYS ONLY
Salary: £21,000 per annum, OTE £28,000
Job Description:

Manage a team of General Insurance sales consultants to achieve company targets and ensure good levels of compliance and customer service. Lead by example and contribute to the development of Click Connect.

Core Duties

  • Staff Management
    • Achieve GI targets through effectively managing and motivating a team
    • Train and coach staff
    • Manage team according to Training and Competency guidelines and ensure all staff are operating in a compliant manner, as per FSA regulation.
    • Take appropriate action when any member of staff makes a breach of compliance.
  • Management Information
    • Analyse and action the client information to maximise sales conversion of team
    • Ensure delivery of accurate and timely Management Information.
  • Training & Competency
    • Ensure staff follow the sales process and procedures as detailed in the T&C Policy.
    • Follow the company T&C policy and ensure that individual staff records are kept up to date.
    • Ensure staff only make non advised sales.
  • Product and market knowledge
    • Maintain your own product and market knowledge as well as your team.
    • Contribute to the development of the Click Connect business.
Knowledge/Experience:
  • Sufficient supervisory experience of a sales team ideally in a call centre environment.
  • Knowledge of the General Insurance market place – training will be provided where necessary.
  • Business to consumer sales experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of FSA and General Insurance regulatory requirements.
  • Experience of driving a target driven environment.
Qualifications: GCSE's or equivalent.
