Click chips in with cheque for vital disabled kids' project in Farnham

- Life and loans provider presents local charity project with bumper £10k cheque

STEVE Teague, boss of Farnham-based life and loans provider Click showed his company's charitable side last week Friday 27th July when he presented local charity Disability Challengers* with a cheque for £10,000 in a major fund raising event.

On a highly successful activity day - the BIG Play Appeal - which was also supported by former motor racing ace Damon Hill and BBC newsman Michael Buerk, Click's donation will assist with the restoration of a Farnham site being converted to provide a new play facility for young people living with disabilities.

"We at Click are delighted to support this excellent local facility, but let's not forget that the ultimate target for the project is an ambitious £350,000," said Teague.

"As one of the biggest employers in the area, we are proud to be associated with such a worthy and progressive project.

"There are around 800 families with disabled children waiting to access the facility in Farnham, and the sooner the project is complete, the better for the children who will ultimately be able to enjoy what will be the largest adventure playground in Europe for disabled children."

Click is well known for its charitable endeavours - additionally to supporting Challengers, it raised £15,000 for VICTA** (Visually Impaired Children Taking Action) when a team of 11 crossed the finishing line at the Flora London Marathon in April this year.
