1 decade at Click

On this day 10 years ago, Beastie Boys were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Perhaps, more importantly, our very own Head of Design, Dave Ashworth, was inducted into Click. Yes, Dave’s been with Click for 10 years today (can I get a round of applause?)!

Hey Dave, What do you enjoy most about your role – and why?

The ability for myself and my team to try new creative techniques and processes without being constrained in any way; in fact being encouraged to do so with support, which hasn’t been the case in previous roles.

What are you the most proud of in your career / life?

I’d have to say my kids and grandkids I guess, they mean the world to me… however, I’d also be shot if I said going to Liverpool matches or certain gigs.

What is the most important lesson you have learned in your career?

Never use Comic Sans!

You’re a big fan of the band Rush, if you were to start a band what would its name be?

If I were to start a band it would be bad, I dabble in guitar but don’t really rate myself! If I had to, I’d call it ‘Don’t Buy our Records’.

What song best describes your work ethic?

As cheesy as this is it would be ‘Working Man’ by Rush of course.
