With five other TRAX technologies already in active use across client accounts, the introduction this week of pageTRAX™, an internal link analysis algorithm takes the total proprietary tools at our disposal to a not insubstantial six.
The tool, which operates in a similar manner to the original PageRank algorithm used by Google, analyses all of the pages on a site, then ranks them in order of importance to the site, based on internal and external links and a host of other factors – all of which allows the development of a comprehensive internal linking strategy.
